Gain powerful tips to move past drama and start connecting with friends
Do you ever feel like you can't manage your emotions? Are your relationships with your friends, dates, and parents full of drama? You aren't alone. For some teens, good relationships come easily. But if you're like many others, you probably need a little extra help dealing with family disagreements, peer pressure, dating, bullying, and gossip. So where do you start?
Relationship Skills 101 for Teens offers powerful tools based in dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) to help you manage your emotions and build better relationships. You'll discover how mindfulness can help you face each day with awareness and acceptance, and find effective ways of communicating with others. Finally, you'll learn to work through your emotions so you don't end up taking things out on the people you care about. If you're ready to effectively manage your feelings, improve your self-confidence, and build healthy satisfying relationships, this book will show you how!
