Casey Greatness Wings is a playful, interactive story that can be told on the child's back. This is a story about a caterpillar that feels different from the others and worries that he is not good enough. His worries are as big as a giant elephant and he does not know how to get the elephant off his back. It's not until the Wise Grandmother Butterfly magically appears and cocoons Casey in her loving embrace that Casey can find a way to escape the elephant and see the beauty that has always lived inside of him.

From the Author
This book was inspired by my family, clients, and training in The Nurtured Heart Approach®. Relationships and building attachments are the foundations of healthy social and emotional development. This is a book that needed to be written because it is so important for adults to have the tools to celebrate children's greatness, learn mindfulness and help children decrease their worries. In this cyber, high-tech world, we have lost connection, compassion, and kindness. I hope this book rekindles and ignites the love for you and your child (or students), and guides them toward a path of trust, resilience, and success. Casey's Greatness Wings is also helpful for children on the autism spectrum because they are sensory learners. Most children are sensory learners, so this story is a fun, engaging experience to help with self-regulation, safety, and connection. Children speak the language of play, so unplug, and take this time to soak in the many wonders of your child (or student) as they have so many gifts to be celebrated! The activities in the back of the book are great to do with just one child, the family or in a group/classroom. Be sure to read the Letter to Storytellers in the front of the book to learn more.
