SUGGESTIONS FOR USE
• Multi-step commands: when assigning a task dictate the commands in the sequence the steps should be carried out
• Homework assignments: children, teachers, or a teacher’s aide can dictate the assignments and the child can bring the card home with them
• Instructions for desk work: dictate the desk work the child needs to complete. The child can listen to card as many times as necessary. Useful for children with attentional problems, auditory processing disorder, weak active memory skills, receptive language problems
• To-do list: when assigning a list of chores dictate each one into the card
• Shopping list
• After school reminder: leave out for your child to listen to when they get home
• Love notes: put one in your child’s lunch box or your honey’s brief case!
• Morning/Evening routine: dictate each step of the routine. Your child can listen to it as many times as necessary. Add a reward activity to the end of the routine to motivate your child.
• Record a phone number you just received
• Remember a parking space
EASY TO USE: Push the switch to ON. When you are ready to record press RECORD the entire time you are speaking. Direct your voice toward the “speaker” on the front of the card. To listen to your message press “LISTEN”. Your card will not record when the switch is pushed to OFF.
