Storytelling is a very powerful therapeutic intervention, particularly with children who are reluctant to reveal themselves. Mutual storytelling can be a way of resolving issues at an unconcious level, and is useful for children who have difficulty verbalizing thoughts, feelings, and memories.

This set of cards includes three kinds of beautifully illustrated cards, 13 of each, for a total of 39 cards. The images are suited for representing a wide range of problems faced by children and their resolutions. The deck of cards provides opportunities and prompts for children to engage in dramatic play, encourage problem solving, broach difficult topics, reveal feelings, and begin a dialogue about challenges they may face.
